The sound of the crisp leaves
Crackling beneath your footfalls
And, the creak of my screen door
As the key turns in the lock
And you step through
Into my world

There is nothing like
The look in your eyes
The way they dance and shine
They way they keep me
Mesmerized.

There is nothing like that night
That he and I shared
It was wild, it was romantic
It was one of a kind
One I could hardly bare
One I could never forget
Even if I tried

There is nothing like
The music that fills my soul
There is nothing like the way it fills me up
Lifts me to a higher place
Leaves me breathless
Like I feel wrapped safely
In your embrace

There is nothing like
The cool crisp comfort of morning sheets
The refreshing purity resting
In their brisk caress
I spread out languidly
And let all my worries
Wash away

There is nothing like thoughts that bring
Heaven to earth
Miraculously bring together the divine
Entangle, mix, combine
Your precious life
With mine.
