A villanelle (You might have to read twice)
When other idle dreams were put away
One kiss would push reality aside
There was his love and what else could he say
His mind was filled with no one else that day
There was some brand new magic to his stride
When other idle dreams were put away
His eyes now glazed his heart would lead the way
To where all of his visions now reside
There was his love and what else could he say
As if as one they whiled their day at play
They gave their cares some other place to hide
When other idle dreams were put away
Then to their Joy was echoed a dismay
And all her hope here dangled on his pride
There was his love and what else could he say
And there her pool tears were on display
In there he kissed the reason that he cried
When other idle dreams were put away
There was his love and what else could he say
