Spiritual poetry about an angel. A guardian angel.
There’s an angel on the rooftop looking down on me.
The bright golden halo wakes me in the morning.
Throughout the day she is my guide.
The angel from the rooftop stays at my side.
There’s an angel on the rooftop looking down on me.
Her wings comfort me when I sleep.
Her glow is brighter than the moon.
She never sleeps, it will be morning soon.
There’s an angel on the rooftop looking down on me.
When I pray, my heart she can see.
Sometimes I hear her voice in the wind.
I know it’s not my imagination.
There’s an angel on the rooftop and she’s my friend.
