A short poem inspired by London and famous people.

Mind the gap,

this is Camden Town.

A pillar stares at me – we know who it is…

Look there’s Rhys!

Too many tourists!

Mind the gap…

It’s starting to take the biscuit out of the jar and into the mouth of a platypus.

“You’ve taken the allegory too far.”

“Oh Contra, I’ve just begun.”

I can’t sleep due to an over active thyroid,

mind the gap…

Bright lights all around,

spiders with pink eyes and a little deer standing at Bethnal Green station staring at you.

If you see anything suspicious please notify a member of staff immediately,

mind the gap…

There’s Rhys.
