Ever had a panic attack? They come on strong and out of nowhere and very disturbing. But they pass and no one has ever died from them…there is help, deep breathing, forcing to think positive thoughts, distracting your mind on something else, praying, and just giving it time to pass…however hard that is!!
Running, running,
no place to hide
they come on strong
it’s a very long ride
panting, panting,
can’t get my breath
if they don’t stop
it’s certain death
gasping, gasping
how much longer
they grip my soul
and just get stronger
whispering, whispering,
slowing down now
exhaustion takes over
I’ll recover somehow
