Haunting English love sonnet w/music.

Her eyes were more like mirrors to my soul
Which spoke of things so very hard to share
So much in common held within a stare
Did we possess the love to fill this hole

Yet somehow our tomorrow’s bloom from there
Where past and future struggle for control
While arms of patient hearts try to console
And kisses gently soften any flare

And when her eyes turned to the sky
We saw a life which others dream about

We were the stars of other lover’s eye
We were the reason that the sun came out

Yet still she gazed my soul would not reply
Till tears of sorrow washed away all doubt
