I miss her.
She must hate me, she really must
To direct her eyes away from mine
When I pass her in the hall and in
My mind I will wave, but I know
Everything is too late
You will go far away and know
Where your love actually lies so
My heart must grow content to
Be alright where I am without
You
Dark red anger and black lined
Eyes say it all, I know you are
Going to move on with your
Head up high and with your
Self fed ideals about who I
Was
You will run across the
Country right before my eyes
Hoping I will see, but I have
Figured out I really don’t want
To compete and surrounding
Myself with the beautiful
Young will cause more age
Then grace
Oh how the styles have
Changed when we’re trying
To impress the other with who
We were not together and the
Makeup in front of your eyes
Is an attack to my moral code
The clever subtly of seeking
The face of the adversary of
Everyman who comes across
Your path and you know it
Kills me, but I guess we have
Died to one another
And you will never really
Understand because I am quite
Lost in myself that opportunity
Came biting at my door, but I
Thought the salesman down
The street had a better pitch
Oh how he fooled me in his
Sale as he pulled the string
Away when I went for the
Product in front of my face
