The depletive nature of love when it is not harnessed.
THINKING ABOUT YOU
When the birds fly and light the epoch that loom begins
When the spider weaves I linger and limp with demure
When the cockroach walks I am greatly astonished
When the mosquito sucks I think glaringly
Of whom could all these be?
Oh adept! Is it all? White and oil that debar you from adoring
Sleep walking sporadically with hapless outcome.
In the morning I set out on an expedition
In the evening I return drowsily filled with
Potion that needs been celebrated
It’s then I think and wept bitterly about my adore one
Who contagious evil have deserted for no just reason
Though the seed have been sowed awaiting harvest
Will you not stay to reap and preserve that which you have
laboured for? Will you now compromise your faith
in the heat of trials and persecution? You vouchsafed to stay
but secular and dynamic you appear to be now
is it all that you have promised and is it how it will end?
