I vote for a new legal age limit because I really didn’t become a man until thirty something.

Kids in the day room

Grow up too soon

Rattles traded for batons

Acting out high school flare

Teenagers transition responsibly

Struggling to make college payment

Aid runs out discovering what life is about

Eyes now open viewing a broader scene

Thinking we’ve arrived

Having no idea where we were heading

Acknowledging the fact,

Reality has become the dreams we foolishly let go

Rewrite the laws to make it official

Twenty-one should remain illegal.

I don’t know how high we can raise it, but I know some folks near 50 who still haven’t grown up. :)

So true, but not many of us get it 21 either. Although, I think most of us think we do.

I think there are some people that never grow up. I really like this one.
