Isn’t Life Grand.
Today feels like
It’s filled with wonder
The clouds have come in
Still no rain or thunder.
The air is cool
There’s a brisk breeze as well
The season’s a changing
Starting with this cold spell.
The rain with thunder showers
Was supposed to start last night
Yet only cold and wind
Came with the morning light.
Yet the day feels really good
Refreshing you could say
Breathing in cool air
Feeling healthier some way.
The birds were out much earlier
Entertaining my cats and I
But that was early this morning
Underneath a nice blue sky.
So I know the rain’s a comin’
It’s just a matter of time
But I don’t really care at all
When a day comes in that feels this fine.
