Because of Our Father Who is in Heaven
We’ve been blessed with this glorious day
The warmth of the sun upon my skin
Is actually His love being sent my way.

The birds are out and they’re so funny
As they fly from here to there
Chirping loudly on their way
Eating the seeds without a care.

The trees are getting back to normal
The pines are no longer frozen to the ground
Tree branches still have ice, which will soon be gone
As is apparent by a crackling sound.

It’s quiet although there is a breeze
It’s light, yet holds a chill of ice
But it’s the perfect break I needed to take
For with the sun the day feels nice.

But now as my break is ending
And I move on with my tasks of the day
It’s with much joy I do this
As I’m reminded who guides my way.
