There is no need to put up with games some people play. It is sometimes better to just walk out.

Note: This is about a relationship, when one partner tries to be controlling. It is better to just walk out.

You play those sneaky games,

pretending you are my lover.

I call you by sweet names,

and around you I hover.
———————–

I want to take it slower.

Then you force me with your power.

Now your ‘love’ tastes really bitter.

In front of me you tower.

————————
Don’t you dare think I’ve got ‘love-fever’.

This is it..

I walk out-

Game over!

  • jimbob1 on Jan 18, 2010

Hey Rox…Welcome back…Sorry that you have been left with a “bitter” taste from a relationship that seems to have soured…sorry that you have been hurt by this experience…you are a wise girl to cut your losses where they are and walk away from a situation that appears as if it was on a downhill slide like a runaway train. Please be well and take care..

  • jimbob1 on Jan 18, 2010

Roxy…I just voted and posted a comment…not sure what it went. aw you posted a response to sourav, but it seems to be gone now too. Have no idea what is happened here…really wacko.

    You go girl!

Excellent article Roxy. There’s no need to put up with stupid little childish head games some guys like to play. When a relationship is not working, walking out is the best thing to do. I don’t even recommend staying friends with a guy. It’s either all or nothing. By staying friends with that person, you will never be able to move on with your life. Don’t settle for less than you deserve my friend.

    Hi Roxy,

Glad you are back:) Women don’t need to put up with controlling men nor remain in abusive relationships. Remember that you are worth it!

  • AlmaG on Jan 18, 2010

    This is so true Rox!

  • magicdarts on Jan 18, 2010

  • johnnydod on Jan 18, 2010

well done for putting yourself first Roxy, a relationship should be a partnership with both of you going forward together in unison, you made the right decision.
Togetherness is a wonderful thing, and when you find it you will know.

  • metro7 on Jan 18, 2010
