This is my first attempt at writing a palindrome poem. Please forgive me my mistakes.

My answer to the challenge of Philly Dreamer

I had a broken chair

A broken chair I had

Had I a broken chair

I set upon that broken chair

Upon that broken chair I set

That broken chair I set upon

I hit the floor

The floor I hit

Hit I the floor

I laid there awhile

Awhile I laid there

There I laid awhile

I looked around

Around I looked

Looked I around

I rolled back and fourth

Back and fourth I rolled

Fourth and back I rolled

I crawled on my knees

On my knees I crawled

My knees I crawled on

I stood up straight

Up straight I stood

Straight up stood I

I limped back to that broken chair

Back to that broken chair I limped

That broken chair I limped back to

I looked around

Around I looked

Looked I around

I kicked that broken chair to pieces

That broken chair I kicked to pieces

To pieces I kicked that broken chair

LOL. The ending made me laugh. Very apropos. It’s fun to play around and experiment with words and phrases. Glad you took this challenge, Shirley. Keep the creativity going.

Having trouble commenting. Hope it goes through. Apologizes Shirley.

Shirley, I left a comment here before but I’m finding that not all my comments submit. I hate that. Love your poem.
