You got yo read it to believe it.

I picked you up, instantly you read my heart

Something needs to be said, where do I start

You lay between my fingers resting on my side

As the thumb secures you in place as you glide

Across the white surfaces above the blue line

Ink Pen telling Paper these thoughts of mine

Paper laying there as Ink Pen strokes her front

Pressing me for knowledge, now i’m in the hunt

Along with Ink Pen trying to write the right word

So you can believe when you read what you heard

Your eyes viewing a message lips already spoke

You could have heard better if you were awoke

I told my Mom, talked it over with the homie

Some strange way I find out I’m not lonely

So often I end up down on my knees

Asking for guidance, so tell me please

What me, Ink Pen, and Paper is trying to do

Is trying to say, is Jesus will come back for you

Great job! Nice matching of rhyme, content, and rhythm! I could see this being read at a poetry slam.
