Accounting is filled with math and writing.

So many numbers, its nail biting.

Recording transactions to the general journal.

Putting assets and expenses in their places

And making sure they add up equal.

Going through ledgers and worksheets.

These pages increasing in number,

Creating hours of exciting fun.

This accounting cycle

Has got me spinning in wonder

Of this class taken.

Starting out easy

But slowly getting harder.

Missing a day will bring harsh results.

This accounting plan

Brings a good profit,

But also brings a time consuming defeat.

Ending the accounting cycle

To see its just begun.

Accounting is a relevant tool for today’s world

And taking this class will pay off in the long run.

Especially, now that I know

I can pay somebody else to do the job.
