In Reminiscence of lost love.

You were riding your bike and murmuring things
You think a lot is what I thought
This is what I remember of you

I waved at you , You smiled at me
I forgot all about the prank
I planned to play on you
This is what i remember of you

I sat on your bike
And held you tight
I asked if it was alright
And your lovely tone of voice
You assured me that I’ve got it right
This what i remember of you

Down at the sunset point
We sat close to each other
The sun pierced my eye
You devised a way , You devised it well
You made me rest my head of you
This is what I remember of you

You caught my hand
And I caught yours
I barely managed to leave it then
This is what I remember of you

At theatre
In that dark place
I caught your hand once again
The movie went on
And you kissed my hand
This is what I remember of you

At the end of the night
I placed a kiss on your cheek
And you jumped in glee
That moment will last forever with me
This is what I remember of you

When you dropped me home
You came close to me and said
Come and give me a hug at least
This is what  I remember of you

All I try to forget is your
No longer with me ,
Your no longer with me
Even in my head .

Fatema

You do dance your style at every twist. I never know what to expect or who the characters will reveal theirself to be in the end. Keep writing lady because you make even dark appear nice in your poetic writes~

i came back to re-visit this page and re-read this wonderful poem of yours, fatema. it’s really beautifully worded and such a brilliant way to launch your writing career. it’s really hard to single out one best poem as all your works are equally beautiful in their own way. i just love them all. thanks for sharing.
