A sincere, straightforward confession of who you can’t be….and who can be….
I read no palms and envisage no future
I am what I am and I’m not what I am not
I play no violin and beat no drums
I sing no song and dance no waltz
I inherit no fortune and no fame to boast
I possessed no glitters, no dazzles nor glimmers
I drive no
chevy, mustang or a beamer
I dressed no fancy and don’t need to be swanky
I am not intricate, as complex as you think
Or knotty and tricky as what others perceived
But I could be a superhero at times of upheavals
Yet could be a villain if that’s what you ask
If I rest you on my palms, don’t try to crawl farther
Don’t offer me bait lest you are sure to wage
Please don’t tender me a bout, maybe I couldn’t resist
Don’t entice me with something, we will both regret
I always see rainbow, after rainy days
I never lose hope after storms and tempest
Never wanna drop my courage
To fight for something I believed
I could always lend you my ears
Whisper words that make you feel at ease
I can walk with you in the park
Talk and reminisce about your past
I could laugh with you without being conscious
If people are staring and consider us silly and ridiculous
I could offer you my biggest grin
Without any need to feign
You could cry on my shoulders
You could borrow my handkerchief
I will try my best to be your fortress
Shield you against all form of wickedness
Maybe we won’t argue with anything
Just respect my Dogma and you won’t hear a thing
Foremost, this is what I ask
Coz my Faith is above all what I should guard
I can only offer you what I am coz I can’t be what I am not
If you insist then maybe I should say this,
I couldn’t be a Friend but never would be an enemy
Coz I love Peace and I believe in Diplomacy
