A love poem for Valentine’s Day.

This love of ours

has woven through

darkened tunnels of despair

and trudged through

gloomy woods of desolation.

But in triumph our love has emerged

out of the murky shadows

and into the beckoning light.

This love of ours

has weathered the harsh winds

and rough storms that ravaged it;

Our love has stood

the challenges of survival;

overcame the test of time;

and has come out victorious

over misery and pain.

This love of ours

has rode on a gale of trials;

has scaled a mountain of hardships;

has crossed a valley of grief;

and has sunk in the ocean of despair.

Yet through it all,

our love has prevailed;

and through the years,

our love has grown even deeper.
