Three Rare Eclipse in June and July

Over the next month, the world will experience a three-eclipse: two separate partial solar eclipse in one month and a total eclipse of the moon exactly between the two eclipse mataharu. It all started with the eclipse of the midnight sun.

A solar eclipse in the middle of the night? How can such a thing possible?

That could happen by mid-summer in the highlands of the north pole, the regions the midnight sun. That will happen this week on 1 and 2 June, looks at the most northern part of North America, Europe, and Asia.

The eclipse began on Thursday (2 / 6) at dawn in northern China and Siberia, then moving across the North Pole across the International Date Line and ends in the afternoon on Wednesday (fifth) in northeastern Canada.

That’s right: the eclipse began on Thursday and ended on Wednesday because of the International Date Line. Because observers in northern Russia and Scandinavia will watch over the North Pole, then they really will see that event at midnight 1 and 2 June.

Exactly a month later, on Friday, July 1, the same strange things will happen at the south pole. Since it is winter south, the sun will be below the horizon for almost all regions of Antarctica, except for a small uninhabited area on the south coast of Madagascar.

That’s the only place would eclipse the horizon appeared to be in a small area in the Southern Ocean, far south of South Africa. Chances are that this eclipse will be witnessed only by penguins and sea birds.

Right in the middle between the two partial solar eclipse, there will be a total lunar eclipse on Wednesday, June 15. The eclipse will be visible to millions of people in Africa, the Middle East and southwest Asia.

The eclipse will be visible as the moon rose in the afternoon in South America and Europe, and as the moon before dawn in the East Asia and Australia.

Unfortunately, it will not be visible at all in North America.
