My wish for future generations.

Through my grandchildren’s eyes, I hope to see
A world with no more bigotry
Where they won’t be judged by race or creed
But by their principles and good deeds
Through my grandchildren’s eyes, I may discern
A workplace where all are free to earn
Not based on family social ties
And the privilege that “connection” buys
Through my grandchildren’s eyes, divisions blur
There’s no us and them; him versus her
But we recognize that we all are one
A global family living under one sun
Through my grandchildren’s eyes, I see love
Pure and untainted from God up above
My wish for them? That all will see
How much better our world could be.
