Remembering sleding with friends as a child.

Through The Woods

Diamonds are throughout the air,

They are landing in my hair.

Cheeks all rosey red, bundled up for some heat.

Scarf around my neck, and boot to my knees.

Every time I step I can hear the snow squeak.

Wow, Off to gather up all of my friends,

And off through the woods we ran.

Dragging our sleds not so far behind,

Wondering who was going to win this time.

Let’s see who would get there and down the first time.

 Through the woods,

This is our spot where no one else would go.

Our special quaint spot,

We shared our friendship in the snow.
