Which answer will be right

    There is a book of truths

Most folks would agree

Available to all who choose

To be read and to believe

   We’ve been given a choice

How to decide, is ours alone

We’ve all got a voice

With it’s own distinctive tone

   Some will say it’s a Higher Power

Others honor their Idols

So, many we tend to cower

To whom do we give the title

   A lifetime of hurt and pain

Mistrusting of others even ourselves

One has to wonder what’s to gain

This question each has to ask themselves

   There are so many different beliefs

The reasoning people call Religion

All these ideas people have conceived

To try to understand, and explain our beginning

   There are those who have been taught

That your life is not your own

We can be tortured and bought

And placed into their service,all alone

   Hopefully on a brighter note

Your life has been blessed

To know there’s good, in every one

Gives us hope to look ahead

   This world did not just appear

From nothing to this great multitude

Although not always clear

Anything is posible with the right attitude

   So whomever you pay tribute to

Hopefully it’s a Loving,Caring Soul

Because life can be too cruel

If you live under another’s control
