This is a poem about time and the places it allows you to go.
Time and Place
There isn’t any place I know
Where time will always let me go
I study hard
I work the same
There’s always time for one more game
To fill the hours,
Climb the towers,
Taking time to smell the flowers!
There isn’t any place I know
Where I would ever rather go
Than where I am
At that one time
Except, of course,
The doctor’s place
Or that dentist in my face,
If I run, will he give chase?
There isn’t any place I know
Where I’d take ice instead of snow
I play hard too
Among my friends
And try to take what life will lend
To fill the hours,
Climb the towers,
Taking time to smell the flowers!
