Made for my daughter.

As I lay on my bed, I began to wonder………. It seemed like it was just yesterday I had you in my arms holding you, admiring your beauty and I remember thinking Wow !! how amazing it was that a part of me was laying right in front of me in my arms Oh!! how tiny you were. I can still picture you on your first birthday learning how to walk, taking your first steps with your beautiful Cinderella dress and a crown made for a princess. At three watching you bake a cake wanting to be the only chef fighting over who was getting a hold of the pot holders. Or at five when you had the chickenpox not wanting to leave the tub because it had soothing oatmeal. Around came seven and that’s when all the birthday sleep overs began. Oh my were those sleepless nights, but loved every minute of it. Time goes by so quick. It seemed like just a couple of days ago we were in the wal-mart fitting room crying our eyes out, my little caterpillar was turning into a beautiful butterfly. You don’t know but I watched you sleep that night thinking how precious my baby girl was. Look at you now on your eighth grade graduation fourteen years old Wow !!!!! I am full of joy and happiness but yet sad because I know you are growing up and I can’t stop it. I can only guide you in the right direction and pray you will make the best choices. I want you to always know that if your ever in doubt about anything I am here for you as your best friend and most importantly as your mother.  I am proud and honored to have such a wonderful daughter.
