Not the time for the end of the world. Just not yet, just never.

Time,
Please take your time to tick.

It’s not like today
Will return again
When yesterday
Has gone away.

It’s not like the sun
Could shine forever,
When the moon
Balances the cycle.

It’s not like flowers
Could bloom again
When seedlings
Have to brave the rain.

It’s not like tears,
Could roll back once more.
When hidden fears,
Cause one’s heart tore.

It’s not like a mother
Carrying her baby
Wishing it would be with her
Till eternity.

It’s not like an adult
Could crawl back to innocence,
When new life
Is but a reminiscence.

It’s not like lovers
Could be together forever,
When ageing and death
Would have to bother.

It’s not like You,
Will stop and witness,
All these Love and Woe,
That mankind harness.

So,

Time,
Please take your time to tick.

Let humanity,
Get all the time we need.

A beautiful piece. There are so many things I would change if I had the time.

I’m glad I’ve taken the time to read this before I leave for work for the day. Having read it, I know I will have a wonderful day.

This is so precious. I love this piece. I too wish there was more time for humanity, for each one of us. God bless!
