I woke up in the morning,

And something was not right.

I realised that I would need,

Much more to win the fight.

I am very determined,

I must be in control.

To keep my mind so very sharp,

And feel it in my soul.

Within my mind and body,

I’m just the same you see.

Events have changed my needs now,

So my life will feel free.

I cannot feel so insecure,

Or now taken for granted.

So always make my heart feel warm,

I cannot feel so slanted.

Every second counts in life,

Sometimes I’m on my own.

It is my mind and happiness,

And I don’t want it blown.

I know the time has come,

For me to feel the best.

So just leave me alone,

I’ve had too many tests.

I feel an inspiration,

And now this is my time.

I just deserve the very best,
