This poem describes a couple who knows things aren’t working out well. The question mark suggests that they are not sure what to do and are still having faith in their relationship. It seems it doesn’t make sense trying,
Because when they do they end up crying.
Wanting just to have that assurance,
But then it just slips away like their weekly allowance.
Wanting back what they had,
The moments that thrilled them and made them glad.
Wanting back those sunny afternoons,
Which was suddenly turned into their daily gloom.
In their mind they know its time to move on,
But in their heart, to the past they keep holding on.
The time has come when they have decided to go
Then in them self they start to grow.
