Time to say goodbye
To the life I left behind
Chance of a lifetime

Please don’t cry for me
This is a new beginning
For I am set free

So dry your tears now
This is a choice I have made
For this is my vow

But I promise you
That we will meet again soon
For this love is true

Affections burn bright
Memories deeply engrained
Never out of sight

You are always here
In my heart and in my mind
There’s nothing I fear

So goodbye my friend
I bid you a fond farewell
Till we meet again
