Clouds that look like

Animals or people

Or whatever  imagination

Brings to your mind.

Bright red roses that

Bloom on a bush,

A spark of an idea that

Gives creativity a push.

These things are timeless.

Feelings inside your heart

For someone you love,

Knowing that you can

Count on that person,

No matter what happens.

Longing for that hug

Or kiss that seems

To mean everything,

Perhaps they do.

These things are timeless.

Gathering with family

On holidays, just to be

Together and laugh and

Talk and feel so good.

Giving of your self to

Those less fortunate

Than you are, you can

Almost taste heaven.

These things are timeless.

Knowing God loves you,

Faith in your spirit that

Never fails you, even

When you feel despair.

Keeping your soul

In the seasons of life,

As if it needs tended to

Like a growing garden.

These things are timeless.
