A lovers’ game ere it started.

Timid lovers

The affair was started out of desire,

Of pangs of hunger yet unknown,

By one some very well known.

Then all wanted to know where the fire is.

Perhaps it could have been some fun,

But before it flamed up, it was consumed.

Perhaps to start later, not in vain,

All over and hopefully not again

Should we remain friends we hope?

Internet is not the place to really cope.

Be aware, take care, at times a fire,

Does and often has many a back fire.

Then not only the players alone,

But all bystanders by also moan,

‘Neath the flames gone finally astray

Oh my how risky it is,

So try and definitely stay away.

The fear consumes in our glory,

The best ‘twas to end, the love story

Remember the fire could’ve spread,

Just about any way the flames were fed.

No more love charges should you press,

Quietly, slowly and stealthily,

Smilingly in a friendly manner,

Kindly slip out and lower your banner.

Very nice poem, It expresses a lot of faithfulness in a relationship.

While others may give in to temptation you have to conquer those mistakes that others may commit.
