When inspiration comes knocking at your mind.
There once was a girl who could not die,
And yet she always wished she lived in the sky.
She wouldn’t work, she just wouldn’t care,
She would lay outside, and at the clouds she would stare.
She was always sweet and never mean,
And her eyes changed from blue to green.
She had long hair that was cherry red,
A dreamer she was, so many thoughts in her head.
She told me she’s swam with great white sharks,
And has even seen a huge lion that barks!
She has danced with princes and brave knights too,
Always carried a smile and was never blue.
I wondered how the girl shined so bright,
And never kept miracles out of her sight.
She talked to me when i felt down,
And told me to get rid of my frown.
Amazed and shocked, I had to say:
“How can you think we will all be okay?? The world we live in is a terrible place! With murderers, rapists, it is SUCH a disgrace!”
She then smiled, a surprising sight to see,
And then that girl said to me:
“I don’t want to be angry, I don’t want to be sad,
I don’t want to think that everything’s bad.
The world is not perfect, and it will NEVER be,
There will be wars and diseases and people who are mean.
Although I am someone who cannot die,
For people like you, life will deffinetly fly by.
So you must enjoy it, that’s all you need to know,
Live everyday like there’s no tomorrow!
I may dream and ponder and do nothing all day,
But I am happy anyway.”
