This is a poem about the wonderful gift of nature that God has provided for us and how I am in the company of God, when I am in nature.

To Be in the Company of God

As I walk through this beautiful field of wild flowers, the golden rays of the sun are warm and delightful as they reach down to touch my skin. I am enchanted with the breathtaking beauty that surrounds me. Each flower is a flawless gem, painted upon the canvas of this magnificent earth by the hand of God. I am eternally grateful for the astonishing exquisiteness of nature that God has provided for us.

Here in nature, I am in the company of God. I can feel his loving presence beside me with each step that I take. He smiles at the joy that I feel through the gift that he has given. The rapture of his love fills me. How wonderful it is to be here in this beautiful place ! How amazing it is to feel connected with nature and with God!

It’s sad how many people will walk by this much beauty and not even notice it. God has placed these things here for our enjoyment, yet we take them for granted.

Oh how I am waiting for the spring flowers to start sprouting as it reminds me of God’s beauty. How anyone could miss all God does for us is beyond me! Great article.

I am the closest to God when my hands are in the soil, gazing out at the beauty and wonder of nature or just soaking up the glorious splendor of his creatures.

What a beautiful poem. You can really feel the peace exuding from it. I have just posted a Christmas poem. I know it is rather out of season but I know you will appreciate the sentiment.
