Have you ever loved someone that couldn’t love you back. Only to see that person falling in love with someone who isn’t you.

There

There she is

The she is over there.

Breaking my heart without a single care.

Ripping it out with the way she looks at him like she’s in love.

She never looked at me that way before.

Was I not good enough.

To be loved

More.

Good work Philly! I like it! Not sure I would be able to compete in this one. Might be above my talent.

Your poem gets straight to the heart of the issue. Unfortunately, I’ll have to write one from her point of view (being that I’m on the other end of this – knowing that there is someone who loves me in a way I can’t reciprocate).
