The lesser of the two evils.

Husband and wife were talking

sort of serious, loving kind of talk.

The wife then asked the hubby,

“Are you glad I’m not a nagger?”

“Yeah, sure.” was his reply.

Then he added not so gently,

“You are just a quieter.”

By “quieter” he meant:

that during times of disagreements

she became so very quiet -

calm and quiet,

distant and quiet,

cold and quiet,

awake but quiet still,

just dead quiet!

And it was driving him mad!

The question now is:

To be or not to be -

A nagger or a quieter.
