To Describe

To describe someone’s love – or how it began

Not an easy task – in anyone’s hand.

How do you set the path – for two hears to join

When life has been filled with different heartache and joy?

Possibly you see that these two hears contain

The desire for a love that bonds for life,

A desire for them to be forever husband and wife

May it be described as some kind of long lasting plan

That two people meet – and best friends then began

When any good or bad happen – they only think of the other to tell.

That spark of emotion – that only two know

When they are in love – not only with the souls

But all the good and bad habits…

Accepting of all traits, embracing the differences, and

Laughing at this those others would be bothered by…

How to describe a love that only those two know

A love of not just body heart and soul…

It is of mind and spirit, of ambitions and endurance.

The Love that is stronger than any storm that may come

The clouds start to roll in and that love that holds them strong

Becomes wiser – stronger – deeper – as a fortress that no person can break

- Stand fast by their side –

Never failing with arms open wide

For bad days will come – as well as good.

Your joys – May they outshine any clouds,

For you both have demonstrated – that love is indeed real,

That life contains its’ challenges – but do not have fear

Your journey together is now just beginning.

Bring your past to the present – then set all aside

For from today moving forward – may God bless your two hearts

The Two Hearts that have now joined as One.
