I went to bed last night/Praying to the Lord/To see another day/Oh, To God Be The Glory/For waking me up/To continue on once more/Because some just didn’t make it/Oh, To God Be The Glory/For the things He has done/I Just can’t thank Him enough.

We live in/A take you for granted world/And not even thinking of you/Well, some of us do/Because it’s you/We owe so much too/Criminals seems to find you in prison/When you was always free/It was you/Who created the beauty we see/You above the president, the kings, and the queens/You alone is the highest one/With the most Dignity.

To you/I give honor and respect and glory/For being the head of my life/And I’m forever thankful/For your forever love/If no other thank you/Least this one child of yours do.
