A poem for everyone who has been in a relationship that they knew would never work but wanted to try anyway because they were in love.
When fire and ice combine,
when it hurts to much to walk away,
giving up would be to easy,
staying only becomes inevitable,
it becomes to much to handle,
when each touch leaves flames licking at your skin,
when passion over shadows the anger,
the magnets within make you stay,
when staying away is irrevocable,
and when staying with you causes pain,
it becomes to much to handle,
sleeping is unattainable,
crying overwhelms my nights
