TO MUSIC DIVINE
Oh let bells chime; may glad notes waltz
to twang my heart with strains of love
You mellow my mood; bear me on wings
Gilt key you loose my lofty words chained.
Oh power, my light, play long and endure!
Your beat sears chaff; stirs visions from shade.
It stills the earth so beauty gives birth
Her vivid train glints; her raiment a gem.
