An ode to my beloved cute little sister-in-law. Dedicated to all the sweet and cute little and elder sister-in-laws.

Trot, trot, trot, tick tok, tick tock
tak tak tak tak, the sound of heels
there enters the short, gorgeous beauty
a replica of magnum proportions

Seated on a high pedestal
Echoing from a high-raise pillow
Her voice killing the silence on a high decibel
That even the most unattentive is drawn to attention

Listen to that shrill, but sweet chatter
Child like, but enough attention drawn to make other jobless mouths to also clatter
Listen to that sweet melody, tis a dandy, sweet like candy
To win many a heart or two

Then with a flurry of rasp and rumble
In a show of disdain, I, her b-i-l, make her scurry for cover
As I unfurl a barrage of fun-filled mockery
To dispell the spell of gloom, and to send her in a shyfull array

Like a politician on the route
She swears like a lady on rampage
But many hearts are won with many an applause
For this lady is one with grit of character with a straightforward approach.

You wicked men, better watch out
For like a roaring cat on the prowl
She watches her prey like an eagle
None of them dare to come near, or you’ll be snuffed out.
