Friend is amigo in Spanish, ami in French, freund in German and umugenzi in Kirundi. You have to distinguish between the family and the friends. In Kirundi, it can appear clear but there is also a discussion on incuti which means family and abagenzi which means friends because Burundi is a landlocked country and everybody knows each other there.
My Dear Best Friend,
time has passed and we are now,
gathered for the cause my friend,
and we shall have to know by now.
The markets are plenty of food,
and we hope they all taste
good and you know what is food,
so we can also make the taste.
It a long way home,
and we are home today,
to celebrate Thanksgiving at home,
because our love is America today.
Now, we have reached the summits,

just like the desired future.
