To My Child

Soft spoken words in rhyming format for the way a mother feels for her child.

I look at you

And watch you sleep

I’m glad that you are mine.

You drive me nuts

Then kiss my cheek

How could I turn from you.

When you were born

My life was complete

You brought joy I never knew.

So I just want to say

No matter what you do

I’ll love you forever,

And then a day or two.
