I’ve been writing Ecstatic poetry for a while now and this is one of them. For me, writing a poem is connecting with my inner self. It is also connecting to others around me.

To outsiders;

I’m moving on, growing up, pushing, pushing,

Pushing my way into the center of the future,

and standing with my legs on the chest of Eiffel tower,

on the last thinking faculties of human civilization.

To insiders;

I’m pushing inwards and inwards and inwards

and rubbing against my bones

To polish the diamonds, to build the fire from inside.

    Am glad to read my old pal’s beautifully scribbled emotions poetically here. I feel good and honored to say I am a friend of this poet.

    Sorry fr some of the wordings Guthema, either your poetry has shken my hands or word failed me since I have not had my coffee yet. Please replace the word bother by brother, ould by soul.
    I love still to read more of your poetry and it makes me feel I am fully alive in a world where somebody cares for e soul and spirit other than the daily bread.

    Night is falling across the Basel sky leaving a few of us for lonelyness. I wonder how a man deeply gets shaken by lonliness in such a cosmopolitian spot in the heart of Europe. I wonder how many of my country men experienced such a utter spiritual aridity where a man is left for himself and die with narcisistic egoisim. I do not know. For such a nostalgic yearning what one expects as a cure except a poem that can warm the freezing heart and the numbing soul. Every heart has a poem like a covered up amber. One needs to uncovered the ash and kindle the inner fire and to lough or to cry and to get the redemption from a loneliness that surges into the marrow and bones to death. My Guthema thank you once again and may the heads that scribled the lines be blessed and thanks. Good night and have a joyous dream!!
