On what it would be like if love was forever renewed over and over again like a fresh scent to awaken your senses over and over again. And you would never grow old with it.

What fun
What joy
Can you feel it
I can
I smell it
Taste it
Hear it
I still feel it
Though it’s now moments old
I wish that it was still new to me
Like a newborn baby
Still bright and bubbly
It’s still awesome
It’s beauty is not dimmed
Like a cute toddler
whose drool is constantly dribbling down her chin
But if was something new all the time
The experience like a flash of bright light
leaving a person stunned for those brief seconds
Love
I wish it was new all the time
We’ve all seen newlyweds
Their faces bright with the excitment of being together
Or a first kiss
Or a first love
Something as intense but lovely
to constnatly be introduce anew
Each and everyday would be awesome
but how would the newlywed become filled with wisdom of an older couple
I take back what I said
I think love should start new but grow old
If it grows old and continues to gow larger
We can end as the old couple
Their love still there
just not as new as it was before
But if more speical
Now that they have grown together
Now that they really know each other
Yes, love should grow old
In order to prosper

Thank you, Peter! I thought I should write more joyful lighter poetry. It felt great to write something that didn’t make me grumpy after writing it. (Because in order to write my articles, I have to become my characters, i have to thrust myself in to the writings and become with it. My husband doesn’t like it when I am grumpy after writing one of my darker poems/ short stories…)
