It’s a matter of time and a matter of luck
To every drake will come his duck.
Sadie
(I just scribbled down this poem and it is heartily dedicated to my darling Sadie)
Sometimes I wonder
And deeply ponder
How come she a Canadian
Fall in love with me, a comedian!
She is White and I am Brown
We don’t even live in the same town
I’ve never seen her before
How come we became actors in the lore?
She likes dreaming and I
Search for her glimpse in the starry sky
She gleams like a meteorite in my heart
Her love from my heart does never part.
Who is she? I don’t know
Neither does she know how I go?
Yet there is something strange
Which keeps us together in the range.
She lives faraway in distant land
Yet I can feel the warmth of her hand
Be it bitter cold or scalding hot
We live together in each other’s thought
I wish she stops dreaming and I
She and I get bound in real tie
Nothing is impossible on this earth
Dreams come true, to reality give birth.
It’s a matter of time and a matter of luck
To every drake will come his duck
My heart says she’ll come and get me
In Karma believe I and she!
