Along the road of nowhere,

When once I was walking aimlessly,

With no direction or guide in mind.

I walked through the narrow path.

That was the moment when alone,

I braved all the obstacles,

That came to me unrelentingly.

With fear, anger and anxiety

I continued the journey amidst all pains;

Never submitting to despair,

Or entertaining surrender

And though wounded from all sides

I continued the fight

Then from somewhere, fate decreed

That you come along my way

There, for no other purpose,

But to give me strength and consolation.

I thank fate for giving you to me,

And no value can measure your preciousness.

I received you as a gift

And I wish I could keep you forever

You soothed every pain I had

And you gave me reason to live again,

For all my life, I shall cherish

The gift of love and care you gave me

My love and my affection
