A deeper meaning about trustworthiness…

If a friend shares you a story
About someone’s secrets
Let it pass through three tests
And tell it not to anybody.
Three tests that need honest answers
First, Is it factual? Next, is it appropriate?
And finally, Is it compassionate?
You too can give candid replies.
And if at last you’re ready to speak out
To your faithful answers you’ll cling
Then you may tell the story or not
For fear what your endeavor may bring.

Secrets can get confused when they end up in the wrong hands. You have to be very careful who you tell them to.

I think if you are entrusted, you should keep the secret unless it is going to harm the person who trusted you,ot anyone else . other wise, there is a degree of secrets, is it about a surprise party, or a long ago affair,or os someone going to do something in future? is hard to say, something to think about.great writning got me thinking

A story told in secrecy should stay secret unless the person who told you the story gave you the permission to share it with others.

My feelings are that you should not divulge something told you as a secret. Always think how you would feel if someone did that to you. A nice piece.
