For it’s a love hate relationship.

I enjoy you every now and then,

But, sometimes you can be pushy.

Throwing things up in my face,

Making me feel out of place.

I’ve tried ditching you a few times,

Yet, you always weasel your way back into my mind.

You said you were suppose to be my friend,

I guess I’ve won in the end.

I know what it\’s like having someone throw things up in your face. My husband does that to me constantly.

In a situation like this I don’t think anyone wins.

Yes you have an interesting literary voice today. Men and Women can be so very different, like opposites. Surely hold your ground and do what your heart tells you. Better days are always ahead!

This poem reminds me of a past relationship. The guy always found a way to blame me for everything and throw things in my face. He even ditched me a few times. But my pride is stronger than my love for him so basically I just ignored him and he always came back looking for me. And then when he did, I just ignored him because it was usually at his convenience, which reminds me of what you wrote in your first line. I enjoy you every now and then.
    Excellent poem.
