A tribute to the fallen stars of our world and all time, from all walks of life, and a reminder that deep down inside, we are all human beings, and always have been.

I wonder if anyone remembers the world
as the years go by,
caught in a spin of celebrity
and scattered ashes of those forgotten.
I wonder if anyone remembers the tales we weave
the web of lies we masquerade
in the story we call history
where we lose ourselves to
the drama we seek to embody.
Heaven heed the bards of yesteryear
and the magazines and propaganda of today.
News that terrorizes nations,
and wild eyed cultists with
visions of a better world
and some demonic power standing in the way.
Where are we?
Are we not human…
All of us?
For the life that beats within the breast
of our long lost icons,
the reality that strikes,
and we wonder what that kiss must be like for them.
Oh to embrace a fallen star,
and remind them that the magic remains within them…
that a star burns so brightly
not because people stand to watch,
but because they are filled with a fire.
What is a star,
if not to look at it?
Ahh indeed, an answer flees away from such a question.
A star has absolutely nothing to do
with those who gaze upon them.
They are themselves,
and they burn with their own conviction
their own purpose,
their own desires,
the unique ones
that inspires humanity to dream
and aspire to be all that they can be,
and more than they ever thought they could be.
That’s a star.
And none of you are forgotten,
Your light shines in my eyes for always,
and my light shines for you.
Maybe those of you,
lost in this world,
will heed my words and find the inspiration
to continue to inspire those who look up to you.
Best of luck,
best of wishes,
and may life show more to you
than just a bitter taste,
and helpless feelings.
Adieu.
