A strong, handsome, regal king, wise and free.
Sometimes I stare at you, you are the most precious of men.

That’s why the men in my past abused me.

They saw my potential and were afraid I’d go,

All the while I struggled with not being good enough,
I was great the whole time, but never realizing it was rough.
When I could stand it no longer, I broke free,
It cost me my firstborn son, but not my dignity.

Everything I was supposed to have I’m gonna get,
My life is good now, I’m finally set.

With you I can be myself, only better.
With me you can be you, it’s always good, us together.
I love your touch, your warm embrace and soft caress,
The way you look at me with delight, even without makeup and my hair a complete mess.
