An original poem about living with no regrets.
That is the only way to live.
if you have to try and live for someone else,
then you aren’t living,
but merely existing.
It may cause the end of a relationship,
or hurt,
or anger,
but you are living.
I like to live with no regrets.
I do what I do,
right or wrong,
but I do them because it’s what I truly wanted.
It’s a simple life rule, but a profound one as
I can never be accused of being insincere to me.
A flat, straight road to live life on is boring,
give me the
hills,
peaks,
valleys
and the thrill of the unknown.
I know I’ve done wrong in my life, but I don’t look back on it saying what if,
because it’s made me who and what I am.
I believe I was meant to do those things so that I could learn.
And at the end of your days,
when you have to face your maker,
it’s all about what you did to create true happiness.
